Lacey LaVigna, DVM

Staff Veterinarian, Mission Campus

Dr. Lacey LaVigna grew up on a ranch in the North Bay and was exposed to many species of animals early in life. This sparked her love and interest in all aspects of animal health and welfare. With this in mind, she set off to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. After completing an undergraduate degree in biology from Univeristy of California, San Diego, she earned her veterinary degree at St. Matthew’s School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical rotations at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She was pleased to return to California to complete a small animal rotating internship at East Bay Veterinary Specialists in Walnut Creek and has worked in the Bay Area ever since.

Dr. LaVigna is thankful to be part of the caring talented community at SF SPCA and strives to improve animal lives and nurture the human-animal bond. When not practicing medicine, Dr. LaVigna can be found snuggling her cats, Emmet and Stryker, riding horses, or going on hikes with her terrier mix, Peewee.
