Community Service through SF MTA – Individuals working to pay off traffic citations through SF MTA assist us seven days a week with the hundreds of loads of laundry we do at the SF SPCA. If you are interested in community service through SF MTA, please call 415-522-3523 or email volunteers@sfspca.org.
Corporate Volunteer Groups: Special half-day projects, which are scheduled Tuesday-Friday from 9am-1pm, are for corporate groups or clubs (up to 12 people) to help with gardening, painting, or beautifying our Mission Campus. Most of these special volunteer projects do not include direct animal care or handling, but do include a tour (where you get to see our adoptable animals) and an overview of our mission and programs. Group Service Project dates are set in advance and we may not be able to accommodate specific date requests. Please feel free to reach out about alternate dates.
We are grateful to corporate volunteer groups like yours to help us complete important projects on our campuses. To cover the supplies and administrative costs of your project as well as support our life-saving programs, we strongly suggest a donation based on your company’s annual budget (see guidelines below) to the SF SPCA upon confirmation of your service project date.
Free: Nonprofits
$500: Budgets less than $1M
$1,000: Budgets $1-5M
$2,000: Budgets more than $5M
To find out about our needs and to reserve a date for your group, please email us at volunteers@sfspca.org. Please note that all volunteers must be over 18.
