The SF SPCA runs volunteer programs on both its Mission and Pacific Heights campuses. Please attend an information session on the campus where you wish to volunteer as the session is geared towards volunteering at that site, are at least 18 years of age and have a working email.
The Mission Campus has opportunities with Animal Assisted Therapy, the Community Cares Program, Foster and Shelter Volunteering . For questions about the Mission campus please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 415-522-3523. At this time, we are prioritizing applications for new shelter volunteers with availability on weekdays during regular business hours. If you are only able to volunteer on weekends and/or evenings, we are accepting those applications, but may not have as many opportunities for you at this time.
Please note: RSVPs are not required for Mission Campus information sessions. Doors will be locked 15 minutes after the session begins.

Pacific Heights Campus:
The Pacific Heights campus is limited in the number of volunteers it is able to take on at a given time. We do our best to accept as many new volunteers as possible into the program, but cannot take everyone.
At this time, we do not have any volunteer shifts available. As shifts come open, we will post them here. We will be offering Information Sessions once we have shifts available. If you’d like to begin volunteering right away, please consider the Mission Campus where there are many opportunities. Simply attend one of the Information Sessions listed above to get started.
If you have any questions about volunteering at our Pacific Heights Campus, please e-mail email@example.com
