Upcoming Volunteer Info Sessions

The SF SPCA runs volunteer programs on both its Mission and Pacific Heights campuses. Please attend an information session on the campus where you wish to volunteer as the session is geared towards volunteering at that site.

Please note: RSVPs are not required for Mission Campus information sessions. Doors will be locked 15 minutes after the session begins.

Pacific Heights Campus:

The Pacific Heights campus is limited in the number of volunteers it is able to take on at a given time. We do our best to accept as many new volunteers as possible into the program, but cannot take everyone. If you apply and we do not have available volunteers slots, you will be referred to the Mission Campus which can accommodate a larger number of new volunteers.

To volunteer on the Pacific Heights campus, the first step is to attend an Information Session at 2343 Fillmore Street.  Our scheduled Information Sessions are below. Please make sure to RSVP to volunteers@sfspca.org as our space is limited.

Upcoming Information Sessions

We are currently searching specifically for volunteers to fill the weekly shifts listed below. In your e-mail to reserve a space for the Information Session, please indicate which of these shifts match your availability and interests. This will give us an idea of how many of you we will be accommodate with a shift.  We do not guarantee that you will be assigned to that shift, which will depend on the numbers that apply. If a shift is not available for you right away, you will be placed on a waiting list for a shift after you attend the Information Session.  We will bring you in to volunteer as soon as a shift becomes available.
