D’Angelo Russell helped two of our shelter puppies find very deserving new families.
Just before Christmas, D’Angelo spread some holiday cheer by gifting two SF SPCA shelter puppies to very deserving families. We worked with the parents behind-the-scenes to ensure a great match, so that D’Angelo could surprise the kids – who were huge Warriors fans!
The first family, which had four children, chose an adorable terrier mix and named him Oreo. The second family, with two boys, chose a tiny Chihuahua mix. The boys named the pup Purple, because she was so tiny – like a grape!
The kids were all smiles, and we’re happy to report that the pups have now happily settled into their new homes.
