Willow is a brand-new arrival from San Francisco Animal Care and Control, but she is wasting no time making friends. This lovely, outgoing lady is exceptionally sweet, wonderfully affectionate and always happy to receive attention. She is also a plus-size beauty with gorgeous green eyes and enough personality to fill every room she enters.

Willow would like it formally noted that she strongly disagrees with our veterinary staff’s decision to use the word “overweight” in her medical record. She prefers “luxuriously proportioned,” “substantially adorable” or perhaps “built for premium cuddling.” Unfortunately, the scale has declined to reconsider its testimony.

All joking aside, Willow would benefit from gradually losing some weight so she can remain healthy, comfortable and active for years to come. Her adopters can help with appropriately portioned meals, veterinary guidance and gentle daily play, even if Willow insists that batting a toy twice should count as a complete workout.
