Tofu may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give this sweet boy a little time and you will see just how gentle and endearing he is. Once he begins to feel comfortable, his soft, affectionate personality starts to shine through, and he is ready to build trust at his own pace with someone who will appreciate the wonderful cat behind those striking eyes.

Tofu’s eyes have a distinctive appearance because of scarring and changes that developed following previous inflammation or injury. These changes are not painful, and while they are expected to remain, Tofu is comfortable and navigates his surroundings well. His vision may be somewhat reduced, particularly his peripheral vision or depth perception, so an indoor-only home will help keep him safe. Tofu does not let any of this define him. He is simply a very sweet boy looking for a patient person and a safe home where he can settle in, feel secure and be loved.
