Marie arrived in San Francisco from the Central Valley with some very precious carry-on luggage, her kittens (Milan, Marlow and Majesty), who were only a few days old at the time. She came to the city hoping to give her young family a better chance and immediately got to work being an excellent mother.

Marie has handled feedings, grooming, supervision and round-the-clock kitten management with remarkable patience. She raised her little ones beautifully, although that should come as no surprise once you see their mother. With her elegant cream-colored coat, delicate tabby markings and extraordinary blue eyes, Marie is a truly stunning cat who seems to grow more beautiful every time you look at her.

Now that her kittens are ready to begin lives of their own, Marie is officially retiring from motherhood and preparing for a chapter that is all about her. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but underneath that cautious exterior is a very sweet cat who simply needs time to feel safe. Once she settles in, her gentle nature begins to shine as brightly as those unforgettable eyes.

Marie is hoping her next chapter includes a quiet home, kind people and absolutely no more midnight kitten meetings. She has taken wonderful care of her family. Now it is her turn to be admired, cherished and cared for.
