Diana is not looking for a couch. She is looking for a career.
This beautiful gray girl has made it very clear that her ideal life includes space, purpose and a job description that does not involve being carried around like a baby. Diana is a working cat, which means she is happiest when she has room to patrol, explore, supervise and put her natural cat instincts to good use.
She is not going to be the cat who greets guests with a dramatic flop into their lap. Diana is more of a quiet professional. Think less “snuggle assistant” and more “independent security consultant with excellent whiskers.” She may not ask for constant affection, but she does need a safe place to call home, people who respect her boundaries and a job that lets her feel useful, confident and in charge of her own little kingdom.
Diana would be a wonderful fit for someone with a barn, warehouse, garden center, stable, workshop or other appropriate space where she can settle in safely and live life on her terms. She needs adopters who understand that love does not always look like cuddles. Sometimes love looks like shelter, food, kindness, patience and the chance to be exactly who she is.
Diana may not be everyone’s idea of a traditional house cat, but she is still very much a cat who deserves a home. Give her a job, give her respect and give her the fresh start she has been waiting for.
