Meet Jersey, a beautiful first-time mama who took her job very seriously and absolutely rose to the occasion. After raising six kittens, Jersey has already proven herself to be loving, devoted and wonderfully protective. She is the kind of mother who made sure her babies were safe, cared for and never far from her watchful eye.

That strong mama instinct is still very much part of who she is. Jersey is not fully trusting of humans just yet, and honestly, after everything she has been through, who can blame her? Right now she is still learning that people can be kind, patient and safe. She may keep a careful distance at first, choosing to observe before deciding how she feels about you.

Jersey is looking for a calm, adult home that understands not every cat is hoping to host a meet-and-greet with the whole neighborhood. Tiny humans are not her audience, and she will do best with people who can respect her space and let her move at her own pace.
