Say hello to Sam-I-Am! Sam is a 5-month-old Pittie mix who came in to us from SF Animal Care and Control. In his time with us, Sam has shown himself to be a sweet, curious, and endlessly friendly boy. He’s brand new to walking on the leash and it’s a little bit confusing for him. Sometimes he just wants to flop down on the ground and give up but with the help of his human and doggy friends, he’s learning that walks can be fun!

Sam is a very playful boy — he loves to play with other dogs and people alike and when he’s done with play time, he plops his head in your hand for pets and leans on you to say, “Don’t stop!” He loves the attention of his people and is looking for a home who will give him all the love he craves.
