This course is specifically designed to teach handlers how to manage and treat dogs that bark, lunge, growl or pull toward other dogs while on-leash. Handlers will practice and be coached on strategies to manage their reactive dogs. If you are interested in registering for Reactive Rover, please fill out the Reactive Rover Questionnaire.
This class is not appropriate for dogs who only exhibit aggression toward other dogs while off-leash, or who exhibit aggression toward people.
All family members are encouraged to attend.
Frequency & Duration: 1 hour per week for 6 weeks (Note: The first class is a mandatory [no exceptions] humans-only orientation. Please leave your dog at home, but bring proof of his/her rabies vaccination.)
Fee: $275 (If your dog was adopted from a 501(c)3 rescue group or shelter, or has taken a class with us in the past year, the fee is $250)
Course prerequisites: Dogs must be spayed or neutered prior to taking Reactive Rover. In addition, pre-screening is necessary before acceptance to this class.
