Ryland is currently thriving in a foster home and is available to meet through our Virtual Adoption Program! This beautiful young tortie had a frightening start when she was hit by a car and suffered fractures to her pelvis, but she has made remarkable progress and continues to heal beautifully.

Most importantly, Ryland is doing all the things a typical kitten should. She is comfortable, using her hind legs normally and able to sit, stand, walk and play on her own. She simply needs a little more time for her body to finish healing, and her recovery is moving in a very positive direction.

Ryland can be exceptionally shy when meeting new people and needs time to decide that she is safe. Because the shelter environment was overwhelming for her, she is staying in a foster home where she can continue gaining confidence at her own pace. With patience, security and love, her personality will have the chance to shine.

Ryland is not defined by her accident. She is a resilient kitten who is healing, growing and enjoying life just as a kitten should. She is looking for someone who can see beyond a shy first impression and give her the safe, loving home where she can continue blossoming.
