Welcome to Rocco’s Modern Life! Unlike Rocko the cartoon wallaby, our Rocco is a 4-year-old Shepherd mix (although we do detect a slight Australian accent in his bark). He’s described by our shelter staff and volunteers as “very sweet boy” with unmatched curiosity.

With the help of positive reinforcement training, Rocco is working to become the best dog he can be. Right now, this means working on his leash manners when other dogs get a little too close for comfort. This patient boy is gaining confidence every day in the shelter and would greatly benefit from a family who could continue this training and encourage him to be the proud boy we know he is on the inside.
