Astro is a sweet young black cat who made his way from Fresno to San Francisco with a little help from people who knew he deserved his chance. After being passed over several times for younger kittens, he caught the attention of our intake team, who knew this special boy needed someone to see him.

Now Astro is ready to find a home where he can be the star. He has a gentle sweetness that makes it easy to imagine him settling in beside his favorite person and filling the room with quiet companionship.

San Francisco has a special place in its heart for black cats, and Astro is ready to be loved extra well. Come meet this handsome boy and see if your home is the place where his next chapter begins.
