Aspen is a model in a dog’s body. This 1-year-old Husky mix has been attracting eyes ever since she joined our shelter. She’s an enthusiastic girl who’s always ready to join you on a hike or explore the closest beach.

Aspen’s curiosity knows no bounds and, apparently, neither does her stomach. She has a history of dining on soft and plushie toys; something her GI tract strongly protests. This is a dangerous habit so any adopter must solemnly swear to only give her hard toys, lest you end up with a costly vet visit and sick dog.

It’s key to keep Aspen engaged on walks. It helps with her desire to eat “snacks” and helps her grow! Once she’s out, she tends to be a confident lady, sniffing and practicing her cues galore.
