It’s hard not to fall in love with Tater Tot. This boy is a 5-year-old Long-Haired Dachshund mix who came to us from Kings County Animal Services. It was clear right off the bat that Tater Tot must’ve had a previous home where he was dearly loved. His adoration for people and friendly demeanor is unmatched — he’s the easiest dog you could meet.

Tater Tot is a bit nervous in this shelter environment and is ready to be scooped up! He thinks life would be a lot more fun if he were at home, snuggling with his people and eating delicious snacks. He may need some time to get used to city living, but we expect he’ll pick it up fast.
