This dog’s smile will brighten your day! Meet Maya, an adorable 2-year-old Chihuahua mix who came to us from our neighbors over at SF Animal Care and Control. Maya is a sweet and curious little lady who will fill your days with laughter. She adores chasing after toys and leaning in for pets – she’ll even place her paw on you to ask for more!

When you meet Maya, you may note her breathing patterns. Maya’s nose wasn’t formed properly, so she breathes out of her mouth and can sound congested, but she’s an otherwise happy and healthy girl and we see no reason for her not to love life in a home!

Maya is looking for a dedicated adopter who will explore the city by her side. She loves to pick up leaves in her mouth and carry them on walks (adorable!) and she would adore a stockpile of toys at home that she can do the same with.
