Adopt your new best friend at Two Embarcadero Center this February
February 1, 2017 – The San Francisco SPCA, in partnership with Embarcadero Center, has launched a Pop-Up Adoption Center at Two Embarcadero Center. Visitors will meet adorable, adoptable animals and participate in fun events designed to introduce potential adopters to their new best friend. The Pop-Up Adoption Center will be open weekdays February 1 – 28, 2017 from 11am to 7pm, with the exception of Presidents’ Day on February 20.
“This Pop-Up will help our rescue animals meet potential adopters who might not otherwise visit our adoption centers” explained Dr. Jennifer Scarlett, SF SPCA President. “Outreach events like this help our efforts to find homes for more than 5,500 animals every year. We invite people to visit on their lunch break or after work, and our expert adoptions counselors will help them find their perfect match!’”
Boston Properties, owners of Embarcadero Center, is thrilled to be working with the SF SPCA whose vision is to end animal abandonment. “The SF SPCA is a wonderful organization that contributes to the overall well-being of our community” commented Steve Colvin, Senior Vice President, Boston Properties. “We are proud to host the Pop-Up Adoption Center at Embarcadero Center. Our high traffic location is ideal for reaching people who want to adopt an animal and provide them with a loving home.”
The SF SPCA creates opportunities for people to interact with adoptable pets. Every day visitors can participate in the SF SPCA’s Animal Cuddle Experience where they spend time snuggling with some of the SF SPCA’s cutest adoptable furry friends. In addition to daily activities, several fun events have been planned:
YAPPY HOURS
Stop by every Thursday evening, 4:30pm – 6:30pm, for adult beverages and nibbles while meeting and mingling with adoptable animals.
COFFEE CUDDLES
Get a pick-me-up every weekday afternoon at Coffee Cuddles from 2pm –3pm.
SF SPCA BUNNY BOWL
It’s a cuter and more lovable take on the Super Bowl! In honor of “Adopt a Rescue Rabbit Month”, watch cute bunnies get their game on and hop their way into your heart. Friday, February 3, at 12pm.
