New Walk In-Wellness Clinic: The weekly drop-in clinic at our Mission Campus provides preventative care

Coronavirus Update: The Walk-in Wellness Clinic has been replaced with our Call Ahead Clinic during the coronavirus pandemic. Our Mission hospital remains open to provide the highest quality veterinary care to your pets. If you are sick and your animal needs medical care, please do not come directly to our hospital. Instead, call us at (415) 554-3030 and we will make arrangements to provide care.

On October 1, the SF SPCA launched its new Walk-In Wellness Clinic! The weekly clinic focuses on the most common preventative care issue that we see in our full service hospitals and our mobile vaccine clinics.

The Walk-In Wellness Clinic will play a significant part in fulfilling the SF SPCA’s vision to provide access to veterinary care for all San Francisco pets by 2030. The clinic addresses two of the most common reasons why people don’t pursue preventative care: convenience and cost. The reduced exam fee includes a limited wellness check with a veterinarian, and clients can access reduced-cost vaccines and preventive medications such as flea and tick control. The first come, first served format allows clients to arrive at their convenience.

The Walk-In Wellness Clinic is an intermediary tier of care, between our full services hospitals and our free mobile vaccine clinics. Our goal is to make veterinary care more accessible for all of San Francisco’s cats and dogs.
