Celebrate the San Francisco SPCA’s Giving Day on our birthday, April 18, as we mark 157 years of caring for animals in need. We’re dedicating our birthday to helping dogs and cats in times of crisis here in California—whether it’s a wildfire, earthquake, or flood—and to do that, we’ve set up an emergency fund.
With your help, we’ll have the resources needed to provide shelter space and medical care to every animal that comes through our doors, no matter the circumstances.
How to get involved in Giving Day
There are so many ways to make an impact this Giving Day. Use the following steps to create and promote your personal Giving Day fundraiser.
STEP 1: Use this link to create your own SF SPCA Giving Day fundraiser, set a fundraising goal, add your team name, and get started!
STEP 2: Share it! Tag us on social media using the hashtag #SFSPCAGivingDay, and use your personal fundraiser link to tell your friends and family all about Giving Day and ask for their support. Here’s a handy flyer you can reference.
STEP 3: Does your company match? We have a match for all Giving Day donations, so your company’s match would help your impact go further. Use the Double the Donation tool to see if your company will match your SF SPCA Giving Day fundraiser!
STEP 4: Let’s celebrate! Every fundraiser will be recognized on our Giving Day webpage and will receive a personalized thank you video for reaching your goal. Our top fundraisers will receive a puppy or kitten cuddle event for you and five friends and a behind-the-scenes tour of the SF SPCA.
