Dr. Zarday grew up in New York City. After finishing her undergraduate degree at Brown University, she moved to the west coast and spent a year in San Francisco before enrolling in veterinary school at UC Davis.
In 2000, Dr. Zarday started working for Adobe Animal Hospital. In 2006, she completed a Masters in Public Health in Infectious Disease and Epidemiology at UC Berkeley.
In 2016 Dr. Zarday became Head of the Veterinary Team at Adobe Animal Hospital. She supervised 30 veterinarians across two hospitals, and worked within the Leadership Team to help steer the course of the practice while continuing to see patients.
Dr. Zarday joined the SF SPCA in March of 2019 as medical director of the Mission Campus Hospital. She loves mentoring medical staff and is especially interested in emergency/critical care, ultrasound, and surgery.
She lives in the Mission District with her husband, two children, and two cats.
