Dr. Miriam Lee grew up in the South Bay area. She moved to Hong Kong right before attending Mount Holyoke College, where she completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry.
She earned her veterinary degree from UC Davis and returned to her roots in the Bay Area before joining SF SPCA as a staff veterinarian. Her professional interests include exotic animal medicine, orthopedics, oncology, and surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling, hiking, going anywhere with a beach, horseback-riding, baking, and exploring the food scene. She has a Chihuahua-Italian Greyhound mix named Fiona and a dilute tortie named Magnolia (both adopted from UC Davis!).
