Dr. Stephanie Cataldo grew-up in San Leandro, California. After earning her undergraduate degree at UC Davis, she worked in the field of wildlife rescue and oil spill response. Stephanie then decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian, thinking she might become a wildlife or zoo vet. She attained her DVM degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2010. Stephanie worked in private practice for a number of years after earning her degree and became certified in acupuncture during this time. Dr. Cataldo also volunteered at a spay and neuter clinic in Monterey and later worked as a shelter veterinarian. She was thrilled to return to the Bay Area in 2018 and have the amazing opportunity to work in Community Medicine. Dr. Cataldo’s special interest include providing better access to veterinary medicine for all families, spay/neuter surgery and preventative care, hospice, home euthanasia and pain management. During her spare time she loves to travel, spend time in nature and connect with family and friends.
