It breaks my heart to do this, but I need to find a new home for my sweet cat, Skittles. I adopted Skittles when he was 7 months old from the Peninsula Humane Society in 2016, he’s now just over 7 1/2 years old. He’s always been a skittish (no pun intended) kitty, especially around strangers and men, but he has always been loving and affectionate with my sister and me. He doesn’t scratch or bite, but he does have some anxiety issues. Skittles is a great cuddler once he gets to know you, and he loves going outside, playing with catnip toys, and having someone pet him while he eats. At times he can be a stage 5 clinger, and if I’m not with him he will meow down the hall for me. He loved our old family dog but does not get along with the energetic puppy my parents got a few years ago, so if you have a dog, it would need to be very mellow. Someone who spends a lot of time at home and has a backyard would be an ideal adopter.
