Our beautiful, loyal, fun-loving Golden Retriever/Black Lab mix, Ronan needs to find his forever home. Ronan is a bundle of energy and really wants love and attention and to play play play. He would love to live with a human or family of humans with time and energy to devote to his loving nature. He benefits from regular exercise and play, and some patience as he learns his boundaries. Sometimes when we pass other dogs, Ronan vocalizes or pulls on leash. We have been working with a positive reinforcement trainer to redirect Ronan’s attention to us and reward with treats when he ignores the other dog. He has been doing great! He is super loyal and appreciative, is very smart and has shown a willingness to learn. And there is truly nothing sweeter than when he puts his snout on your lap when you’re relaxing on the couch.
