Looking for a new loving home for our San Francisco based 6 years old / 25 lbs Formosan Mountain Dog (FMD), Piper, who we adopted 3 years ago. She is healthy, spayed, and up-to-date on her vaccinations.

Piper is an extremely loyal and loving dog that thrives in a calm environment and loves cuddling, long walks and hikes. That said, she is a relatively anxious dog, with a sensitivity to noise, and now having to share her home with a newborn child has been a tough adjustment. She is NOT aggressive, and we’d like to keep it that way by keeping her in an environment that meets her needs. Being in an environment with a crying, crawling, and walking child, and eventually two children, is too much anxiety for her to work through.

We love Piper very much, and feel that what’s best for her is being with an owner / in a family without small children, where she can get more calm, predictability, and dedicated love.
