Leroy is the most lovable and cuddly 60-pound German Shepherd mix! We took him into our family 4 years ago from a friend-of-a-friend who could no longer keep him. At 6 years old, he is amazing on a walk and very good with commands. Leroy loves nothing more than snuggling up with you on the couch for some quality chill time. He’s reactive around strangers at first, but we’ve had tons of success with crating followed by slow introductions with guests.

Now, Leroy’s got some quirks. He’s cool with other dogs once he has a chance to warm up to them. Our two cats, on the other hand, are a no-go – he can’t resist chasing and lunging after them. Must be a cat-free household.

Leroy gets nervous around quick movements, especially with little kids, which has led to a couple biting/nipping incidents with our 2 little ones under 3. Unfortunately, separating our house into a dog zone, a kid zone, and a cat zone is just not sustainable for us, leading us to look for a new home for him.
