Joe is a truly wonderful companion. He was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea when he was just a few months old. Over the last 6 years he has been a wonderful companion but unfortunately I believe he needs a different situation than I am able to provide for him at this moment. Joe has some separation anxiety, which is why he comes to work with me every day, however, he is sometimes left alone with no issues and other times can be destructive towards doors and frames. My partner and I are also on the verge of having children and unfortunately Joe is just too risky for young children to be around consistently. He is a wonderful dog with so much personality but needs a backyard space and someone who can give him more attention than we have the ability for at this point. I’m devastated to lose him but I believe a new home will be positive for both he and I at this time.
