Thank you to Governor Newsom for his unprecedented investment in lifesaving!

Governor Gavin Newsom has announced that his proposed budget includes $50 million to help California’s homeless animals. This unprecedented funding is part of a five year #CaliforniaForAllDogsAndCats plan to offer expertise, support, and assistance to California shelters to end needless euthanasia and improve welfare.

The SF SPCA strongly supports this groundbreaking proposal. This will lift up ALL of California and save countless animal lives in under-resourced California communities.
