New Dog 101

This highly informative session is for anyone who has a dog, is a new adopter, or is interested in getting a dog. A Q&A session with the trainer provides you with valuable advice specific to your situation. No pre-registration is required for this class. You may just show up as we have plenty of space available.

Discussion topics include: 

  • New dog management
  • Housetraining
  • Crate training
  • Exercise
  • Impulse control, and more!

Frequency & Duration: 1 session, several times per month, 1.5 hours

Class includes: Lecture only; relevant handouts provided upon request. Please leave your dog at home.

Fees: FREE, although donations are always greatly appreciated

Location: 243 Alabama Street, or at our new campus in Pacific Heights, at 2343 Fillmore Street!

Course prerequisites: None. You are highly encouraged to attend New Dog 101 before beginning Just the Basics or Just the Small Basics.
