We Need Foster Parents for Adult Dogs!

< Back to Blog

We urgently need foster families for adult dogs with Canine Distemper Virus.

One of our partner shelters in the Central Valley, Tulare County Animal Shelter, has the Canine Distemper virus in their facility. We’re helping care for some of these animals, and we need to find foster homes for them. We expect them to need foster for about two weeks.

Canine distemper cannot be spread to humans or cats. If your own dog has received the DAPP vaccine, which is the most common vaccine given to dogs, then they are protected.

If you’ve ever considered fostering an adult dog, now is the time! We really need your help.
