Over the holidays the Source-to-Home (STH) team–a collaboration of representatives from Adoptions, Behavior, Community Med, Foster, Intake, Shelter Med, and Vol Engagement–worked together to give a few lucky dogs the chance to sleep-rover in a home! A lot of work happened behind the scenes as all the above teams helped streamline this special check out process for dogs and identify staff and volunteers who would be caretakers.
Eight lucky pups had a holiday sleep-rover and plenty of puppies and kittens were able to stay in foster homes. The STH team is planning to make this a yearly event and hope even more dogs go out next December!
