New Cat 101

This highly informative humans-only session is for anyone who has a cat, is a new cat owner, or is thinking about getting a cat or kitten. 

Discussion topics include: 

  • Things to consider before bringing a cat home
  • Helping your cat adjust to your family
  • Enrichment and exercise
  • Scratching
  • Litterbox best practices
  • Cat behavior

This class is taught by a member of the SF SPCA Behavior Team, and a Q&A session will be included.

No pre-registration is required for this class! You may just show up, as we have plenty of space available.

Frequency & Duration: 1 session per month, approx. 1 hour

Fee: FREE (donations greatly appreciated)

Location: Mission Campus

Class includes: Lecture only; relevant handouts provided.  This is a humans-only seminar.
