This intermediate-level training course is tailored for dogs that weigh 20 pounds or less. For graduates of Small Adult Manners 1 or equivalent, this class is designed to hone and polish your dog's obedience through fun training exercises. You will improve your dog's sit, down, stay, heel, and come when called, and learn "leave it." You will also learn 'go to a settle mat' and fun confidence-building tricks.
This class is fast paced and does include homework. Please come to the first class with your dog and be ready to work!
We also have a level 2 class open to dogs of all sizes: Adult Manners 2!
Frequency & Duration: 1 hour per week for 5 weeks
Fee: $175 (if your dog was adopted from a 501(c)3 rescue group or shelter, or has taken a class with us in the past year, the fee is $150)
Course prerequisites: Dogs must weigh 20 pounds or less and be 6 months of age or older. Successful completion of a Basic-level training course such as Adult Manners 1 or Small Adult Manners 1 is required. Dogs should already know sit, down, stay, come, and be able to walk on a loose leash. Dogs must be able to be handled gently by a friendly stranger and be able work around people and other dogs on leash.
Course includes: Homework and certificate of completion
