My Story

My name is Daisy. I’m a little gray-and-white girl, and some people say I’m as pretty as the flower I’m named for. I’m having trouble getting used to life in the shelter, and it’s hard to feel pretty when you’re sad. But people also say that daisies stand for new beginnings, because they bloom in the early part of the day. That’s what I’d like – a new beginning. I’d love to meet a gentle, patient adult, perhaps with older children, who would offer me a quiet place to live, filled with sunlight and cozy laps. With a home like that, I would really blossom.
