20th Annual Holiday Windows
Animal Adoption event at Macy*s Union Square
Macy*s Union Square and The San Francisco SPCA bring back Hollywood glamour with the 20th Annual Holiday Windows “Home for the Holidays” Animal Adoption event on November 17.  Adorable and adoptable cats and dogs, puppies and kittens play in windows decorated to resemble classic movie sets.  Come and see “Marilyn Meow” and “Cary Cat” pose for the “pupperazi.”  Enjoy a scene from “It’s a Wonderful Nine Lives” and honor some of Hollywood’s legendary animal stars on the Walk of Fame.  Then come inside Macy*s Union Square and shop for fun and stylish goodies in the George pet accessories store.

SF/SPCA staff and volunteers are on hand at Macy*s Union Square to welcome the public, introduce them to scores of wonderful companion animals and guide them through the adoption process.  Every cat and dog offered for adoption at the “Home for the Holidays” Animal Adoption event is vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped and has had a medical and behavioral evaluation.  Each animal also comes with a 30-day medical assistance plan, gift collar and ID tag (for dogs), a new leash or carrier and gift bag courtesy of sponsors, including George, Purina, Safeway, Pet Club, Hartz Mountain Corp., Frosty Paws, 3M Corporation and Ever Clean.  SF/SPCA staff and volunteers provide information about cats and dogs and guide adopters through every step of the adoption process.
