Christina La Cerda, DVM

Staff Veterinarian

Dr. La Cerda was born and raised in Ohio, where she attended Oberlin College and received her BA in Biology.  She worked as a research assistant at the Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, OH before moving on to furrier patients.  She graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. After a brief stint working in private practice in the Pacific Northwest, she settled in the Bay Area, and has been at TheSF/SPCA since 2006.

Away from work, Dr. La Cerda enjoys traveling, photography, gardening, and cooking.
