The full-pay fees for spay/neuter services are as follows:

    Female cat $140.00
    Pregnant cat $200.00
Dogs
    Male dogs (1- 20 lbs) $250.00
    Male dogs (21-40 lbs) $300.00
    Male dogs (41-70 lbs) $325.00
    Male dogs (71-100 lbs) $400.00
    Female dogs (1- 20 lbs) $300.00
    Female dogs (21-40 lbs) $350.00
    Female dogs (41-70 lbs) $400.00
    Female dogs (71-100 lbs) $450.00

The SFSPCA Spay/Neuter Clinic offers a variety of surgery discounts for owned cats and dogs in our community:

  • 25% - 100% off for low-income San Francisco residents, determined by the number of people in the household and average monthly income for all household members.
  • 10% off for San Francisco residents, regardless of income
  • 10% off for existing SFSPCA Veterinary Hospital clients, regardless of income and residency
  • 20% off for San Francisco full-time students, regardless of income
  • 20% off for San Francisco senior citizens over the age of 65, regardless of income

Please note that discounts cannot be combined. When applicable, discounts may require proof of the following:

  • San Francisco residency
  • Low-income status
  • Enrollment as a full-time student
  • Senior citizen status
