Free spay/neuter for Pit bulls and Pit mixes

We continue to offer individual San Francisco residents free spay/neuter for pit bulls and pit mixes. Find out more on our Free Fix Terms and Conditions page.

Fees for spay/neuter surgery are:

Cat $115
Dog $275

The SF SPCA Spay/Neuter Clinic offers free or deeply discounted surgeries for low-income San Francisco residents. Please call one of our associates at 415-554-3030 to determine whether you qualify for subsidized services.

When applicable, discounts may require proof of the following:

  • San Francisco residency
  • Income status
  • Number of dependents

Note: The SF SPCA spays and neuters free roaming/feral cats at no cost to the caretaker. Learn more.
