Pedal for Paws

JB and Jennifer Benna Pedal 4 Paws!On December 16, 2009, JB Benna, his wife Jennifer Benna, and their newly rescued dog Scooby will begin a 1,100 mile bike tour of California's Pacific Coast from Oregon to Mexico. Their goal is to raise money for the San Francisco SPCA as well as promote shelter pet adoption for the Holidays.

‘Tis the Season to give, be merry and help others. It's special people like you that can help. JB and Jennifer's goal is to raise $5 or promote 1 nationwide adoption for each ten miles they ride. That’s a goal of about 100 furry friends to be adopted across the country or a $5,000 donation, 100% of which will go directly to the San Francisco SPCA.

Pedal for Paws has joined forces with the SPCA and will host an event at the San Francisco SPCA on December 23rd, 2009. Bike enthusiasts and pet lovers can come meet JB and Jennifer beforehand and ride with them to the local SPCA, or proceed directly to the event. JB and Jennifer will stop in and take some time getting licked on the face by the dogs and cats. They are asking people to bring some pet food and supplies, and they hope to inspire people to donate or adopt a new lifelong friend.

In the meantime, stay tuned and check back often for blog updates. If you are super inspired, grab your bike and join them for a mile or one hundred miles as we all band together to give the animals a second chance.
