The SF SPCA hosts a wide variety of events across the organization, including fundraisers, volunteer orientations, dog training classes, and youth programs (including summer camps, Community Service Saturdays, and more). Preschool Story Time is a monthly program designed for children ages 3 to 5. SF SPCA Humane Educators read an animal-related children's book with a humane message at each session, and readings are followed by a craft or activity and an animal interaction. This program encourages preschool-age children to foster kindness and respect for animals.
