SF/SPCA Cinderella Fund

We all know Cinderella went from rags to riches with the help of her fairy godmother.
At The San Francisco SPCA, ill and injured animals receive the special veterinary care
they need to make them adoptable thanks to monies from the Cinderella Rehabilitation
and Medical Treatment Fund.

Since April 1, 1994, the adoption pact between The SF/SPCA and San Francisco's
city-run shelter has given the Society the ability to save the lives of sick, injured, infant
or debilitated animals residing in the City Shelter.

Each year, program funds provide thousands of animals with everything from dental
care to major surgery.

The San Francisco SPCA's Cinderella Fund transforms the lives of the neediest animals
who arrive at the shelter -- those who are not only homeless, but are sick or injured as well.
The orphaned kitten with a broken leg ... the abandoned dog suffering from malnutrition
-- thanks to the magic of the Cinderella Fund these and hundreds more who need that
extra measure of care can receive treatment from the skilled medical staff at The San Francisco
SPCA Animal Hospital. Once restored to health, these special pets can then be placed in
the loving homes they so richly deserve.
