School Tours

Details

Arrangements should be made one month in advance.

• Tours may be scheduled Monday -Thursday 11:00am - 4:00pm.
• Tours take approximately one hour.
• Tours are conducted for children in grades 2 and up.
• There is a fee of $30 and additional donations are always welcome.

Requirements

• Tours are provided for groups of 8 to 30 students (10-15 students is ideal).
• Groups must have at least one adult for every ten children and the adults are asked to help with the class management throughout the shelter experience.
• Children should not bring backpacks or large jackets.
• Children with severe allergies to dogs and cats should not attend.

• We will need to know the number of students and grade level.
• Please provide us with a preferred date/time and an alternate date/time.
• Please let us know what topics your class is currently studying, as we would love to design the tour to meet your needs.
