School Tours

**PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING TOURS DURING THE SUMMER DUE TO OUR FUN-FILLED ANIMAL CAMPS.  TOURS WILL RESUME IN SEPTEMBER.**

Details

Arrangements should be made one month in advance.

• Tours may be scheduled Monday -Thursday 11:00am - 4:00pm.
• Tours take approximately one hour.
• Tours are conducted for children in grades 2 and up.
• There is a fee of $30 and additional donations are always welcome.

Requirements

• Tours are provided for groups of 8 to 30 students (10-15 students is ideal).
• Groups must have at least one adult for every ten children and the adults are asked to help with the class management throughout the shelter experience.
• Children should not bring backpacks or large jackets.
• Children with severe allergies to dogs and cats should not attend.

How TO REQUEST A SHELTER TOUR

Email us the following information:

• At least three preferred dates and times (a month's notice is preferred)
• Teacher's phone and email address
• Name of the school
• School address
• Grade of the children
• Number of children
• We would love to design the tour to meet you needs, so please share with us any additional comments such as, such as what your class is currently studying, or the impetus for your tour request.
