After-School Junior Volunteers

Animal Awareness Program – Spring 2010

Animal Awareness after-school programs give students hands-on time with animals and opportunities to make friends with other young animal lovers.

Junior volunteer programs, by design, are fun and encourage youngsters to consider the needs and feelings of others; the effects of their own actions; and their place in the world relative to other living beings.

Each session focuses on a specific animal or topic, with hands-on animal time making up at least half the session.
