Shy Dog
Why So Shy?
Basic Training for Shy Dogs
This class is specifically designed to help shy and fearful dogs 5 months of age or older blossom and learn to enjoy training in a social setting. Owners learn how to help their dog become more confident in many different situations through a variety of fun games and exercises as well as teaching basic commands and addressing common behavior problems.
We build confidence for dogs who are:
- afraid to walk past or go near other dogs
- afraid/shy of greeting people
- prone to run away and hide when guests come over
- scared of loud noises
- overwhelmed in new environments
- scared to go on walks
- fearful of new/strange objects
Please note: We cannot accept dogs with aggressive behavior that has resulted in a bite towards a person or dog. If your dog is reactive (growls, barks, snaps or lunges at other dogs while on leash), please look at our
Reactive Rover 1 class instead.
