Bring AAT to Your Organization
Bringing AAT to your San Francisco mental or physical health care program
At this time the SF/SPCA AAT Program is unable to expand to include additional visitation sites. We hope to be able to consider new locations after July 1st, 2010 and will keep your information on file if you wish to submit it now.
If you are interested in receiving AAT or PDT visits, please check that your facility meets the following criteria:
- Facilities and programs must be located in the City of San Francisco. If you are outside the City, please call 415.554.3060 or email AAT@sfspca.org for a referral to an AAT program in your community.
- Facilities and programs must have a reliable contact with both phone and email address for communication and scheduling purposes. Should the contact change we must be updated as soon as possible to guarantee a smooth transition and maintain services.
- Facilities and programs must undergo an assessment to discuss their pet-related goals and demonstrate an adequate level of safety for visiting teams.
- Facilities and programs must provide a chaperone for visiting teams to promote the safety and enjoyment of clients and teams.
