The Berkeley East Bay Humane Society is critically in need of your help after an overnight fire that gutted the facility and killed several cats.
The fire started just after 1 a.m. at the Humane Society's facility in the 2700 block of 9th Street.
At least a dozen cats were killed, but many more cats and dogs were rescued by voluteers. Now they need to find temporary homes for the animals.
If you can help as a foster family, you're asked to email the Berkeley Humane Society: foster@berkeleyhumane.org
