In addition to loose teeth, infection under the gum line can spread to the liver, kidneys, and heart. We recommend regular brushing to remove plaque build-up.
But periodically, even with regular brushing, dogs and cats require a dental procedure for a more rigorous, comprehensive cleaning or to treat periodontal disease, fractured teeth, or oral masses.
