Dr. Jennifer Babineaux is a native Californian who grew up in Santa Rosa. She graduated from UCLA in 1985 with a degree in Economics, and then obtained an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 1989. After working in the field of finance for 10 years, she changed careers to pursue her love of veterinary medicine. She graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Babineaux completed a 3 year residency in internal medicine in 2009, and then joined the SF/SPCA, where she focuses on emergency/critical care and managing internal medicine cases. Dr. Babineaux is experienced in performing abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds, and rigid and flexible endoscopy. Her professional interests include intestinal disease, endocrinology, immune mediated disease and cardiology. Dr. Babineaux is board eligible in internal medicine.
Dr. Babineaux is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. Dr. Babineaux lives in the East Bay with her husband, two cats, two dogs and a parrot.
