If your dog is reactive or fearful, you need to be able to shift her attention to focus on you. This course is designed to teach you how to use focus commands in various situations. You will learn and practice strategies to manage distance and intensity so that your dog does not respond in a reactive manner.
Please note that this class is not for dogs that are aggressive toward other dogs or people. Your dog should be at the level where he can be relaxed within visual distance of the stimulus. If your dog is aggressive on- and off-leash, you should meet with our Veterinary Behavior Specialist [1] first to prepare for this class. If your dog is aggressive to other dogs while on-leash but not while off-leash, check out our Reactive Rover 1 class [2].
We encourage all family members to attend.
